Demi Lovato is thanking her fans for their support following the death of her father over the weekend. The singer took to her Twitter account soon after, telling her over 15-million followers that she felt "so humbled" by the outpouring of condolences she'd received. The 20-year-old wrote that she appreciated the kind words of "fans, friends, family and complete strangers."

Lovato's father Patrick Lovato, who had been suffering from cancer, had divorced the star's mother back in 1994. Their relationship was supposedly strained, as the star put it into music with the 2011 song "For the Love of a Daughter."
Meanwhile, a new single from Demi's latest album is being prepped for a release on Thursday, according to "Billboard." The single, called "Made in the USA," will hit radio before her scheduled appearance on "Good Morning America's" summer concert series on Friday.
