NEW ORLEANS - At least 12 people have been shot at a Mother's Day parade in New Orleans on Sunday.
Local police told the Associated Press the shooting erupted in the city's 7th Ward. Authorities told reporters on scene that a 10-year-old girl was among those wounded. She was grazed by a bullet and is listed in good condition.
Authorities also said three to four people were in surgery, but their conditions weren't known.
No deaths have been reported.
No arrests have been made, and what sparked the shooting is under investigation.
