Alleged "Backpage" Rapist Gets 90-Year Sentence

Rochester, NY -- The sentence is 90 years in prison for Rochester's so-called "Backpage Rapist."

Prosecutors say Michael Chess got the name for using the classified ad website to find the five young prostitutes he was convicted of raping. The rapes spanned a year, ending in September 2012.

Authorities say Chess arranged to meet the prostitutes in residential areas in Irondequoit and Rochester, where he forcibly raped them.

Prosecutor Andra Ackerman says she believes other victims exist who never came forward.
