DA may drop charges for man who caught kids vandalizing relative's home

(13WHAM) Clyde, NY -- Wayne County District Attorney Rick Healy says he may dismiss the charges against the Clyde resident charged with endangering the welfare of a child for detaining the four children he caught vandalizing his father-in-law's house.

Healy tells 13WHAM he hasn't made a final decision yet but likely won't prosecute Jesse Daniels. Healy says he will decide whether to drop the charges before Daniels' court date next Wednesday.

The children, who are 8 and 10, are charged with Burglary and Criminal Mischief.
