Fire Damages Vacant Rochester Apartment Building

Rochester, NY -- There's no word yet on the cause of the fire Wednesday morning at a vacant apartment building at University Ave. and Scio St. in Rochester.

Rochester Fire Chief Sam Mitrano says it's too soon to say yet if it was arson. But the fire is considered suspicious, because a squatter had been inside.

The squatter was injured jumping from a third-floor window to the roof of an adjacent building. He was taken to the hospital.
