Former FLCC VP accused of tampering with student transcripts

Canandaigua, NY -- A longtime senior official at Finger Lakes Community College is facing charges she changed grades and added courses on student transcripts without authorization.

The Ontario County Sheriff's Office says Nancy Purdy of Farmington is charged with official misconduct and falsifying business records in the second degree.

Purdy was employed at FLCC as the Asisstant Vice President for Academic Initiatives. A LinkedIn page in her name indicates she no longer works there. The sheriff's news release says the offenses occured between February 2000 and February 2013.
