Four wounded in two Rochester shootings

Rochester, NY -- Rochester police are saying more about two shootings overnight, including one that wounded three city residents in the 100 block of Pierpont Street. Officers responding to a Shotspotter activation around 2 a.m. found a large group of people and one of the three victims. Two others drove themselves to the hospital. All the injuries are considered non-life threatening.

The shooting happened about two hours after a woman was shot outside a home in the 500 block of Brown Street. She is in stable condition. Police believe she was not the intended target.
