Rochester, NY -- The sentence is 1 and one-third to 4 years behind bars for a Hilton man convicted in a deadly wrong-way crash in East Rochester.
Donald Love could have been sentenced to up to 5-to-15 years. He was found guilty of manslaughter and reckless driving after hitting a car while driving his truck in the wrong lane in December 2012.
The other driver, John Marcaitis, of Fairport, was killed. 13WHAM's Jane Flasch reports Love cried in court Wednesday and apologized, saying God would judge him. But Flasch reports a prosecutor said Love was still in denial. Prosecutors say Love was convicted of DWI three months before the crash.
