Man convicted in rapes of twin girls gets 100 to life

Canandaigua, NY -- The sentence is 100 years to life in prison for Michael Lewis, who was convicted of charges he repeatedly sexually abused twin girls at the East Bloomfield apartment where he lived.

Lewis was charged last year and was found guilty in April. The girls testified the attacks happened while their mother was at work.

Assistant District Attorney James Ritts tells WHAM 1180 says the judge heard from the girls, now 16, before imposing the sentence. They testified about the impact the crimes have had on them, including night terrors.
