Meeting Held Concerning East High School's Future

Rochester N.Y.- A discussion held last night aimed at deciding the future of East High School.

An the Educational Partnership Organization, School Turnaround presenting its plan to help. The plan includes steps towards at ensuring that 100 percent of students graduate with a Regents diploma and all are accepted into a two or four year college or trade school.

They are also proposing a new administration be in charge of the school and that a new hiring/rehiring process be instituted to revitalize the teaching staff.

A School Board committee will now decide what to recommend to the full board.

The district has until May 15th to make a final decision.
