Pair Charged After Wallet Is Left Behind

Batavia N.Y.- State Police say  two men are facing several charges today after they say one suspect actually left his wallet behind during an attempted robbery.

Police say 52 year old Roy Hooten distracted a Home Depot employee as 30-year-old Robert Peachey walked out of the store with copper piping on Saturday.

They left, but had to return because Peachey left his wallet at the counter. Store employees called police and the two men were arrested.

The pair charged with grand larceny and conspiracy charges.
