Phelps, NY -- On this Veterans Day, relatives of a Phelps soldier killed in the Korean War finally have closure.
Karen DesCamp says her uncle, Army Corporal George Conklin, was recently identified with a DNA sample provided by her father. She says time is running out for relatives of those missing in World War 2 and the Korean War to provide samples that could put names to unidentified remains.
Cpl. Conklin was buried with military honors on Saturday.
