Report: Warren Appointee Didn't Disclose Charge and Plea Stemming from Crash

Rochester, NY -- One of Mayor Lovely Warren's new appointees reportedly had a run-in with the law he didnt disclose to her.

The Democrat & Chronicle says Spencer Ash pleaded guilty to driving while ability impaired after getting charged with DWI in a July traffic accident. Ash was a lawyer for the city at the time and was recently named development services director for the Department of Neighborhood and Business Development.

Warren said she first heard of the accident and the charge when a reporter asked her about them Thursday.

Ash did not return calls from the newspaper seeking comment.
