Shoe laces that don't need to be tied?!
They're already popular in other parts of the world, and now a Rochester man's invention could be getting a big boost here in the US.
Tim Talley is the creator of U-Lace Sneaker Customizing Laces. He's operated the business online for the last five years, and last night took his invention to ABC's "Shark Tank".
Billionaire investor Mark Cuban liked the idea, and offered Talley $200,000 for a 35% stake in his company. It was an offer Talley just couldn't refuse!
Talley tells our sister station, 13 WHAM the United States is currently the smallest market that he sells to. He's hoping Shark Tank and this investment can change that.
