We'll put these two stories together because they both have to do with music, Rochester and the Grammys:
The NFL says Rochester native and four-time Grammy winner Renee Fleming is singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl. She's an internationally-recognized opera singer.
And the first-ever Grammy Music Educator Award is going to an Eastman School graduate.
It goes to Kent Knappenberger, a music teacher at Westfield Academy in Westfield, New York for 25 years. The Eastman School says he got his music degree here in Rochester.
