Sheppard: Shooting victim in the wrong place at the wrong time

Rochester, NY -- Rochester police have released the name of a 57-year-old man gunned down early Sunday morning on Linnett Street

Chief James Sheppard says Allen Hutchinson was shot while walking his dog. Sheppard says Hutchinson was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Police are hoping someone in the neighborhood knows something about the shooter and will come forward.

Meantime, police have no suspects in custody in a fatal shooting Friday on Boston Street during a vigil for a shooting a year ago.   20-year-old Tahje (TAH'-jaye) Orange was killed and two other men were wounded.
