Sodus man charged after toddler takes stroll on roof


A Sodus man is under arrest for letting his three-year-old son walk around on the roof of his house.


The Wayne County Sheriff's Office charged Thomas Rouland after neighbors spotted the boy on the second-story roof and called 911. Rouland was arrested April 1st when the same child was found walking down Maple Avenue near Route 104 in Sodus Village. He was issued an order of protection to watch out for unreasonable risks to the health and welfare of his children.


He's facing additional charges of endangering the welfare of a child and criminal contempt.
