(13WHAM) Rochester, NY -- A Brighton teenager has accepted a plea deal in connection with a crash that injured three friends.
Seventeen-year-old John Zakhary pleaded guilty to four of nine charges, including three counts of assault and one count of reckless driving. The plea agreement calls for four weekends in jail and community service.
He was charged after his vehicle rear-ended a school bus on Warren Avenue last October.
The parents of the injured teens want the community service to include talking to teens about reckless driving.
