Two men have been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance after a rollover crash on I-490 in Chili sent them to the hospital early this morning.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says both 23-year-old Jesse Willey and 19-year-old passenger Nathan Williams had taken heroin before they crashed at about 2 a.m. Both men were trapped in the upside-down car. Deputies cut the seatbelts and got the men out. Both were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital.
In addition to drug possession, Willey has been charged with driving while impaired by drugs.
