I swear, if I post this picture and get some free chicken, I'm going to wet my pants. This was when I managed the KFC in Bath, New York, in 1980 or so.

Dad and Scott taking our Sunday afternoon nap.
  •
The great Chet Walker waking up Rochester on a beautiful New York morning.
  •
Big event of late was a visit by my son Lee and his girlfriend, Jessica. Here they are in the WHAM talk studio with my daughter Hannah.
  •
To fortify ourselves, we stopped off at El Latino for some rice and beans.
  •
We made a quick trip out to Letchworth.
  •
Somebody froze up the waterfall at the Glen Iris.
  •
Lee and Jack celebrated birthdays together, with Lee turning 29 and Jack turning 9.
  •
Young Jack got this .22 rifle -- bought at a Hessney.com auction. The stock on this gun is made by a wonderful Rochester manufacturer I can see out the window of my WHAM studio.
  •
While he was in town, Lee taught Jack how to ski. Being Lonsberrys, and similar in many ways, they blew off the beginner lesson and got in line for the lift.
  •
    Jack Lonsberry, man of adventure.
  •
Lee, Jack, Jessica and Tim, a close family friend. Skiers will recognize Swain, which is over the hill from my country land.

Our heroes warming up after a full day.

My early career in law enforcement.
  •
My latter career in odd facial hair. The Amish kicked me out, claiming the glasses weren't "plain" enough.
